  • This is my first time at Cafe Andes. The person at the counter was very nice, personable. You order your meal and they serve you and they really care about your experience. I tried the pabellon, amazing flavors, fresh and took two home. I had one of the paisa's, absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and I will return. Thank you

  • First time here. Didn't know what I wanted. I was recommended the empanadas and they were delicious especially with the house hot sauce.

  • Hands down one of the BEST places we have eaten in Newmarket!!! The guy working there was so friendly and suggest items off the menu. We tried so many different foods and everything was just beyond our expectations. I forgot to take pictures of some of the other stuff cuz I was lost in my food!!! My husband and I left so satisfied.. we can’t wait to take more of our friends and family here!

  • I really liked their arepas, we went a bit late and as a Colombian I was sort of expecting the kind, positive and welcoming personality of the owner but he seemed serious and wasn’t able to recommend any dish, even if I asked for more of their garlic sauce (they literally had thousands served) but he said: oh no! That’s the only one you’ll get, and I was embarrassed- I paid almost 40 dollars and not even a free small plastic container of garlic sauce? CRAAAZY! I still rate this place nicely because the arepas were tasty.

  • Everything is fresh here and high quality always. Placed order for a large Tres leches cake and it was so good we couldn't stop eating. Also always get their Empanadas and they are excellent!

  • A little cozy oasis tucked into an unassuming strip mall, Cafe Andes served yummy latin american cuisine, and delicious coffee. I literally didnt know what an Arepa was when I walked in. Now I'm hooked! If you're on the fence about this place, or not too sure whats good in this area (especially when waiting on vehicle maintinence), give it a go. It'll pleasantly surprise you.

  • Fantastic experience here. I went with some co-workers, 2 of which are latin and they even said the food is authentic. I had the pabellon criollo, the beans were great and the plantain was tasty. I also had to try a carne mechada arepa, and the beef was even juicier on this. I think arepas are the way to go here. The atmosphere was also very clean, above average, not to mention the great service. I will have to return to try another arepa.
